Why Meerkats?

Meerkats are a social species. They work together to protect one another by taking turns protecting the group.  The sentinel role is the role of the helper or non-breeder. These are the lookout meerkats that look out for threats to the community.  The sentinel role is rotated so all the meerkats can eat.  When a threat is detected by the sentinels, a bark is produced to alarm the community.

The Sixth Sense

We don't naturally have a sixth sense, but we will make it our priority to get to know you until we do have a sixth sense about you.  MeerkaTalk won't make the decision of what's best for you, without you being the leading part of that decision.  We want to be your sentinel to detect a threat in your life. That threat can

be a substance, a location, a difficult time, a memory, a person, or just your own mind.

Our Inspiration

Too many times we hear, "I am looking for a therapist, but I just can't afford one." Therapy should not be a luxury, nor a periodical thing, rather a daily, natural aspect of your life. We won't tell you what to do or give you advice. We will simply be there.
